The City Of Charles SturtAccessible Beaches and Push Mobility rolled out the Summer Season of the Henley Beach accessible beach mats for the first time early in December 2018.


Subject to weather and other factors the mat will be rolled out, just North of Jetty, each week from Thursday – Sunday each week during Summer.

Every five hours, one Australian dies from melanoma. Time won’t stand still and neither will we. Take steps to end melanoma – join our March for a cure.

Join us at Henley Square for Melanoma March Adelaide! This family-friendly event brings the whole melanoma community to raise awareness and funds for melanoma research.

This is your opportunity to remember those lost to melanoma, support people with melanoma and inspire all Australian to help end melanoma.

All funds raised will go towards crucial research dedicated to finding a cure for melanoma.

Henley Surf Lifesaving Club Big Row
Henley Surf Lifesaving Club Big Row

2019 is the Henley SLSC’s 13th Big Row, an annual fundraising event.

The public are invited to gather on the beach to welcome home to  an amazing group of surf life savers after rowing one of the club’s surf boats 68km across the Gulf St.Vincent, an epic 8 hour physical open water journey from Stansbury  to Henley Beach.

This event helps raise crucial funds that will all go towards maintaining and upgrading the club’s life saving equipment and clubhouse.
